Benjamin Dewey is a Boston-based producer and production manager active in the industry since 1984. Schooled at Princeton University and Rhode Island School of Design, he has worked at every level of production. He was line producer/production manager for the independent features Black Irish, Shuttle, The Last Harbor, Becoming Helen Keller (WNET/13 – American Masters series) and Crooked Arrows. His First Assistant Director experience includes major period productions: Louisa May Alcott – The Woman Behind Little Women, The War That Made America, and Murder at Harvard. For location work, feature projects include Once Around, The Good Son, Malice, The Proposition, A Civil Action, The Love Letter, The Women, My Best Friend’s Girl, Surrogates, Jumping the Broom, and I Don’t Know How She Does It. For television: Sabrina-The Teenage Witch, Boston Public, Passions, Miracles, Friday Night Lights, Louie, and production management for the PBS series Design Squad and the Amazing Race for CBS.
